ROOTED ENOUGH TO MOVE WITH CHANGE

The Earth is changing.

The question is not whether we can stop change, but whether we are anchored enough to move with it.

Grounding is what keeps us connected, rooted in our energy, stable in our bodies and safe enough to expand.

Your root chakra represents your connection to the Earth and is associated with safety, stability and belonging in the body.

When we are grounded, change does not have to feel like something happening to us. We have somewhere within ourselves to meet it from.

When we are not grounded, everything can begin to feel like too much. We leave the body and move into the mind. We overthink. We brace. We search for certainty.

Sometimes the answer is not to figure out more.

It is to come back into the body.

To feel your feet against the Earth. To notice the support beneath you. To breathe deeply enough to feel yourself here. To allow your body to experience steadiness before asking it to hold more.

You can visualize roots extending from your feet deep into the soil, or imagine yourself as a boat dropping an anchor into the ocean floor.

Feel the moment of connection.

Steady. Held. Supported.

You can also ground physically: press your bare feet into the Earth, lean your body against something solid and notice where you make contact, wrap your arms around yourself, or rest beneath something weighted and allow your body to feel supported.

Then become quiet.

Notice your breath. Notice the sensations moving through you without needing to judge or change them.

You can bring your awareness to the base of your spine and imagine the energy of your root becoming steady, anchored and connected to the Earth beneath you.

Rooted in the Earth. Safe in your body.

This is what allows us to stay grounded enough to hold more energy, meet change without immediately becoming overwhelmed, and expand without leaving ourselves behind.

The Earth will continue to move.

Our work is not to become immovable. It is to become rooted enough to move with her.
